With our headquarters in Tokyo, AIBJ has offices in Singapore as well as most other major cities in Southeast Asia, and in China including Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Brussels, and Sydney. For our domestic support business we provide M&A advisory services to mainly Japanese companies and for our overseas support business we provide cross-border M&A support for Japanese and other Asian companies as well as local survey and research services needed for expanding into emerging countries.
Combined with the recovering Japanese economy, conducting M&A activities and execution of M&A projects is increasingly becoming a deciding factor for companies that are finding themselves in fierce competition. Furthermore, M&A has also become a universally accepted method to deal with succession upon the retirement of business owners after working hard to develop noteworthy businesses. Our motto has always been to bring together the best buyers with the best sellers and we will keep doing just that.
With respect to the overseas markets, we have through M&A provided many Japanese companies with success in finding optimal partners across Asia. Strategic M&A is something we make possible through the developmental strengths of our organization as well as through the use of information databases and networks containing over 300 entities across Asia which lets us assist you in overcoming issues related to culture, language and other hurdles when going about M&A in Asia.
